Make a Difference

Nationwide, LGBTQ+ youth make up one-third of the foster care system. LGBTQ+ youth with a history of foster care are three times more likely to have attempted suicide and more likely than their foster peers to end up homeless. Oak Grove Sanctuary Palm Springs works to disrupt this cycle providing safe, stable housing with supportive resources to help youth become self-sufficient adults and productive members of our community.

Oak Grove Sanctuary Palm Springs is a program under Oak Grove Center, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization with Tax ID# 33-0470446. The services offered rely on community support to provide our residents with the kind of educational opportunities they require to overcome previous set-backs and flourish in an environment of positive reinforced values.
